Thursday, April 29th:Â
Most of you are familiar with this annual event. Dine at any participating restaurant during their hours of participation and 25% of your bill will be donated to AIDS Service Assoc. of Pinellas.Â
Restaurants throughout Tampa Bay will participate as will hundreds of other restaurants in over 50 cities in the U.S. and Canada. This is always a big deal around Gulfport because all of the restaurants in the village participate during some or all of their hours. So there is usually a big buzz, especially during dinner hours, while diners fill up the restaurants and streets while supporting a good cause. Each restaurant is represented by one or more Ambassadors who do their best to fill up the restaurant to which they've been posted.Â
For more information about Dining Out For Life, a list of participating restaurants and their hours of participation, go to www.diningoutforlife.com and click on Tampa Bay. In Gulfport during the evening, watch for extra festivities such as live music and ASAP's giant pelican roaming the streets.  Here are the folks I am aware of that will be serving as Ambassadors for Dining Out For Life and their participating locations. As you can see, all meals are covered by our friends, so start with coffee in the morning and finish with dessert at the end of the evening. Please consider joining them to support the cause or choose one of the many other restaurants that will be participating.  Mike and Daniel: Stella's Deli (7-11:30AM)
Joe Dobson:Â O'Maddy's (11AM-2PM)
Faun Weaver and Mike Agrew:Â O'Maddy's (5-9PM)
Greg Stemm: Village Pub (5-10PM)
Mike Knettel and Bobbi Stapleton:Â La Cote Basque (Dinner)
Kurt Schliebner:Â Isabelle's at Peninsula Inn (Dinner)
Gulfport Chamber of Commerce:Â Backfin Blue (Dinner)
(Apologies if I have missed anyone.)Â Â Â Â Â Bon apetit, Daniel
