Shrimp Boil at the Gulfport Lions Club

The Gulfport Lions Club will hold their third Shrimp Boil on Saturday,
March 13 from 4-8 p.m. at their den at 4630 Tifton Drive S. in Gulfport
(right behind the Marina). Rain or Shine. The menu features a great supply of
fresh, peel and eat shrimp, homemade hushpuppies and cole slaw, baked
beans, cocktail sauce, coffee and iced tea and dessert. A generous 1/2 pound
(weighed before cooking) serving for everyone at a cost of $8 per person,
Additional shrimp can be purchased at $4 per 1/2 pound. This is not an
all you can eat dinner for a one time cost (as most of their events are).
Children under 10 years of age are half price. You are welcome to bring
your favorite beverage as we cannot sell beer or wine.
Plenty of tickets will be available at the door, or contact any of your
Lion friends. This is a Gulfport Lions Activities Project, with all of the net
proceeds generated to be allocated to their community outreach programs,
especially Sight First activities, as are all of their fund-raiser projects.

event. Their next fundraising event will be a Pancake Breakfast on April 3 and
May 8.
