Theatre Walk Comes to Gulfport’s Art District

After a four year hiatus, Three Muses & A Fool Productions is excited to present its 9th Theatre Walk “Smitings”. This lively theatrical event centers around six short plays written by award-winning writer, and author of the “hauntingly hilarious”, “Still Life with Bulls and Sangria”. This year, The Walk is led by a disgruntled substitute Sunday School teacher, trying her best to recall the biblical stories she’s supposed to be teaching. She ushers her “class” through Gulfport’s Art District, where her peculiar recollections of Goliath, Samson & Delilah, Jesus, Joan of Arc, and even the Norse God Odin materialize on the streets.
Directed by Ciara Carinci, the cast includes veteran Walkers Jim Greene, Lynda Kavy, Tom Laitinin, Bethany Peabody and Peter Suarez. Performances are March 25, 26, 27, April 1 and 3, Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. The Walk commences at the Courtyard Village on Beach Blvd. in Gulfport’s Art District.
