About our speaker:
Brian Butler is Founder and President of Vistra Communications, LLC, a
service disabled veteran owned small business providing strategic
communications and management consulting services to business, government,
and non-profit and clients.    

A retired career Army officer, Mr. Butler has significant Strategic
Communications, National Security and Homeland Security related experiences.
Prior to founding Vistra Communications, he provided Strategic
Communications Counsel to senior leaders at the U.S. Central Command in
Tampa, FL.  He also served in the White House on the Homeland Security
Council (HSC) and in key Pentagon positions.

Mr. Butler is an experienced public relations professional having worked in
the Washington, DC office of Fleishman-Hillard International Communications,
spokesperson and Chief of Communications for then-Secretary of the Army
Louis Caldera and on the personal staff of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs
of Staff.

Brian and his company are actively involved in the Tampa Bay Community.  He
holds a M.S. in National Security Strategy from the National War College, a
M.S. in Administration from Central Michigan University and a B.S. in
Marketing from Hampton University.
