Get Rescued… In Gulfport, Beach Blvd. South (Waterfront District), 10AM-5PM. A fun and festive fund-raising event for pet rescue organizations throughout the region, one of the largest in the nation, now in its sixth year. Pet rescues, adoptable pets, pet product vendors and more. Doggie parade, pet and people dance contest, wiener dog races and other fun activities. Canine companions welcome. Bring donations of pet food and cat litter to be distributed to non-profit rescue organizations. An ideal celebration of animal appreciation in this little dog-loving town. Contact: 727-323-3892.
