Event: 'Industrial Strength Chili Cookoff Is Coming!' Print
  Industrial Arts Center
Date: Saturday, September 25, 2010 - 6:30 pm
Duration: 2 Hours

It's time to start polishing your best chili recipe and register for the Industrial Arts Center's Second Annual Industrial Strength Chili Cookoff on Saturday, September 25, 6:30-8:30 p.m. This will be a hot, hot, hot -- fun, fun, fun event to support the innovative teaching facility in the Gulfport Art Village Courtyard. In addition to tasting some fabulous taste bud tingling chili, attendees will enjoy live entertainment by Silk Heat.

Entry deadline is September 20th for the chili tasting and judging event. The entry fee is only $25 and includes an IAC membership and commemorative apron. Check the Industrial Arts Center website for details: www.IndustrialArtsCenter.org.

First, second and third place winners will receive hand blown chili pepper trophies. Attendees will have an opportunity to vote for the People's Choice Award at a cost of $1.00 per vote. Proceeds will support the Industrial Arts Center operating fund. Event tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for kids.
