Artisans and Crafters will be displaying their unique talents along Beach Blvd. and live entertainment can be heard throughout the waterfront district.
Gulfport Arts Center, a City of Imagination Project, is proud to present a Basic Drawing Workshop with Joseph Weinzettle, MFA. This course introduces beginning students to basic drawing materials and concepts. Drawing techniques in this course include charcoal, graphite and ink. Class drawings will be based on direct observation of still lifes. Exercises will develop the students’ skill in creating line, tone, volume and composition. Hard Vine or willow charcoal and an 18”x24” medium wt. drawing pad are required for the first class. Workshop will be held on Wednesdays, and has been re-scheduled to begin February 2 from 1-3:30 p.m. It will still be a six-week course. Cost is $120. Space is limited so pre-registration is encouraged.
